Mylan’s abbreviated new drug application for morphine sulphate extended-release tablets has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) .
The tablets are available in doses of 15mg, 30mg, 60mg, 100mg and 200mg.
The dose formulations are the generic equivalent to Purdue Pharma’s MS Contin, an opioid analgesic for moderate-to-severe pain management.
