Relief Therapeutics AG plans to broaden its product pipeline and treatments for major complications of diabetes by the acquisition of FirstString Research, Inc.

According to the agreement, Relief Therapeutics will issue its new shares to the existing equity holders of FristString Research to make them 33% to 40% equity holders of the final combined company.

FirstString team will join the Relief Therapeutics AG organisation following the transaction.

Pharmaceutical and healthcare products provider China Resources Sanjiu Medical & Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd has announced its acquirement of specialty pharmaceutical company Kunming Shenghuo Pharmaceutical Group Co. Ltd.

The company expects the transaction to cost $282.67m and plans to fund the entire acquisition through its own resources.
