TBG Diagnostics has announced that it will acquire a 51% stake in RBC Biosciences Corp. for a purchase consideration of $4m.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by August 2016 and will provide TBG Diagnostics with sales and distribution opportunities in the global diagnostics market.

Charles River Laboratories International has acquired Blue Stream Laboratories to develop its biological testing solutions business to compete in the growing market segment.
According to the agreement, Blue Stream Labs will be combined with Charles River Labs’ discovery, safety assessment and biologics capabilities to develop biologics and biosimilars from characterisation through clinical testing and commercialisation.
