At its Capital Markets Day on 8 September, Sandoz revealed a new set of targets – part of a roadmap dubbed Bio100 – that could help it become the undisputed leader in the biosimilar industry within the decade.
Harnessing what it calls a ‘golden decade’ for biosimilars, Sandoz has outlined an ambitious growth strategy that could see the manufacturer harbour more than 100 of the compounds in its portfolio by 2040.
At a media briefing on the day, Pharmaceutical Technology's editor Robert Barrie spoke with Sandoz's chief commercial officer Rebecca Guntern on the strategy.
In this episode, Guntern tells us that the company will be going beyond just the standard biosimilars, targeting next-generation modalities with the highest growth potential.
