Gene therapies continue to dominate pipeline for retinitis pigmentosa

A team of scientists at Trinity College Dublin and University College London recently posted a publication demonstrating how gene therapy can prevent the degeneration characteristic of retinitis pigmentosa involving the use of 3D retinal organoids serving as templates of human retinal disease.
