At present, there are 4.8 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the globe. The disease has now reached 190 countries, the most affected of which being in the US. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), most confirmed cases of Covid-19 are in seen in adults aged 18–44 years and 45–64 years. Nearly 3% of confirmed cases across the US occur in ages 0-17 years and most children who ail only come down with mild symptoms.
