Working with the ready-to-use SP5D is particularly user-friendly. The cultivation does not require any pre-treatment or centrifugation steps after seeding your cells. Changing the media is also particularly convenient by simple pipetting, as the height of the microwells has been designed to retain cell spheroids.

The Sphericalplate 5D has a wide range of uses across the medical and pharmaceutical industries. This includes maintenance and differentiation of stem cells on a 3D level, as well as any somatic 3D cell-type application, such as drug and toxicity screening and cancer research (ADME, DMPK).
