Meritech has introduced a fully automated hand washing system that meets ADA requirements.

The hand washer provides a technology-based approach to automated hand hygiene by removing 99.98% of dangerous pathogens such as norovirus with a single 12-second wash cycle.

Meritech president Michele Colbert said: “While we have proudly delivered automated hygiene technology solutions to food production facilities, food service establishments, cleanrooms, retail businesses, theme parks, cruise lines, hospitals, and nursing homes for over 20 years, we have continued to hear the need for accessible, ADA compliant systems.

“Our mission is to save lives by preventing the spread of infection through proper hygiene, and each pair of hands counts toward that goal! We are dedicated to ensuring the physical accessibility of our innovative automated handwashing technology to all, and we are proud to make that vision a reality with the launch of the CleanTeach 500 ADA system.”

Meritech’s CleanTech 500 ADA handwashing system is available in any finish and in custom designed cabinetry. The CleanTech 500 ADA system can operate individually or be paired with other Meritech systems, including Meritech’s Kids Wash (K-WASH) handwashing stations in a variety of configuration options to meet the unique needs of businesses and their guests.

Custom cabinet housing, towel dispensers, air hand dryers and trash receptacles may be incorporated for enhanced ease of use and aesthetic presentation.

The CleanTech 500 ADA handwashing system is a new addition to Meritech’s complete line of fully automated handwashing systems, which are clinically proven to remove 99.98% of harmful pathogens from hands with a single 12-second wash cycle.

CleanTech automated handwashing systems use 75% less water than traditional sinks, are proudly made in the USA and come with an industry-leading five-year warranty.
