Powered by our Ph21 data collection software, the UTS4.1 can generate the data needed for batch release directly at the tablet press using Charles Ischi’s OSD Testing Technology turn-key solutions. The system offers numerous benefits, including:
- Automatic sampling of tablets at the tablet press outlet (operators do not need to feed the tester manually)
- Out of spec violations are recognised immediately to prevent production rejects in big volume
- In case of T1/T2 violation, the operator can be alarmed by a visual or sound signal or a stop signal can be sent to the tablet press
- Avoids cross contamination as the tester and the tablet press are in the same room
- Ph21 software (provides full data integrity – audit trail, user management etc – 21CFR part 11 compliant)
- All data can be stored on a local PC or central server database
- All product data (disintegration, friability) can be stored and managed in one place
- At the end of each test, results/batch reports can be sent and printed automatically in the IPC lab
