About Us
Elevance Health Inc is a provider of medical, digital, pharmacy, behavioural, clinical, and complex care solutions. The company operates its business through four segments – Commercial and Specialty business, Government business, IngenioRx, and Other. The Commercial and Specialty business segment offers administrative managed care services and provides various specialty and other insurance products and services such as dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental health insurance benefits. The Government business segment includes its Medicare and Medicaid businesses, national government services (NGS), and services provided to the federal government in connection with the federal employees health benefits (FEHB) business. The IngenioRx segment includes the company’s pharmacy benefit management (PBM) business. It markets and offers PBM services to affiliated health plan customers, and provides services such as formulary management, pharmacy networks, prescription drug database, member services, and mail order capabilities. Elevance Health’s Other segment consists of its health services business with a focus on lowering the cost and improving the quality of healthcare by creating new care delivery and payment models, with a focus on serving those with complex and chronic conditions.
