Früh Verpackungstechnik was founded in 1980 by Albert Früh with the goal of offering customised and effective packaging solutions to a demanding clientele. In less than 30 years Früh has become a leading company in the field of flexible packaging solutions and contract packaging of medical technology products.

After a smooth and successful transition to the next generation the company is now managed by Hans-Peter Früh, Peter Koemeter and Thomas Good. With its move to the new, state-of-the-art premises in Fehraltorf, Switzerland, Früh Verpackungstechnik has created the framework for an even more successful future. Früh Verpackungstechnik today has about 300 employees.

Früh Verpackungstechnik is a leading producer of flexible packaging materials for various applications such as:

  • Vacuum packaging
  • Liquid packages
  • Packages for sterilisation
  • Packages for pasteurisation
  • High barrier packaging materials

The packaging materials are supplied in ready-made pouches, bags or reels, printed or unprinted.

Früh Verpackungstechnik is a leading producer of flexible packaging materials.
The material for these gusset-bags is four-layer laminate, containing Alu-Foil.
The pouches are made from various laminates, according to product and shelf life needs (with or without Alu-Foil).
Infusion bags made with high barrier material (PET-SIOX) ready for steamsterilisation.
Overwraps made with or without barrier material, ready for steamsterilisation.
Bag on Valve Systems for several liquid applications.

Overwraps and infusion bags

The material combinations for overwraps are made with laminates and contain Alu Foil including a window, if needed. All materials have excellent barrier properties regarding water vapour transmission and O2 transmission. Standard transparent barrier materials made with PET (SIOX) or PET (ALOX). The bags or reel materials are vacuum tight and ready for steam sterilisation.

For Infusion bags we offer a new technology, which allows us the convert a transparent barrier (PET SIOX) material on the surface of the tube film. Other barrier combinations are also available, if needed. Our new technology is in use for 50ml up to 5l infusion bags.
