Biocair International has announced that it is moving into a new 16,000ft² corporate headquarters on 17 November 2014.

The office, located south of Cambridge, UK, provides customer services, operations, sales and temperature-controlled packaging solutions and will enhance Biocair’s expert service provided to its customers across Europe.

The office benefits from a wide portfolio of temperature-controlled packaging solutions, dry ice storage, and high-capacity Foster Eco Pro G2 refrigerator and freezer rooms, with 24/7 temperature monitoring.

Collections and deliveries will continue to be via Biocair’s proprietary temperature-controlled vehicles.

Biocair chairman Simon Higgs said: "I am delighted to announce this move into our new state-of-the-art office and warehouse facility.

"Biocair’s newly expanded headquarters will continue to support our UK customer base but now serves as our regional European Centre of Excellence to support our continuing growth across the life science sectors throughout Europe."

Biocair offers logistics services and support to a wide range of organisations, from large multi-national pharmaceuticals, global central laboratories and clinical manufacturing organisations supplying the clinical trial arena to niche biotechs and individual R&D scientists worldwide.

By focusing on the needs of these sectors and using our extensive understanding of the research process and science industry, we have developed our range of services to ease the process of discovery and aid the development of leading-edge, novel therapies.

Managing director Vincent Howard said: "Our facility supports the increasing demand for logistics and cool chain services across the UK and Europe, ranging from R&D products and biological clinical trial samples to larger IMP and drug moves.

"We have strategically located offices around the world advising on current classification and regulatory requirements, applying precise procedures and packaging while supplying the correct documentation to fulfil all legal requirements.

"Further new facilities and enhanced infrastructure across the globe are already scheduled for 2015."
