Germany pharma industry registered a 4.7% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 3.3% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.03% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 0.91% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany pharma industry in July 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.91% in July 2021, a 4.62% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 25.95% share, an increase of 161.54% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 10.69%, registering a 366.67% rise from June 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 6.87%, up 125% over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in Germany IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 31.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany pharma industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. posted 57 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 3.64% over the previous month, followed by Bausch Health Companies with 27 jobs and a 107.69% growth. Bayer with 14 IT jobs and F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 6 jobs, recorded a 55.56% growth and a 50% increase, respectively, while Boehringer Ingelheim International recorded a 150% an increase with 5 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 87.02%, up by 31.03% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 7.63% share, a growth of 42.86% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.34% share, down 36.36% over June 2021.
