The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.05% in April 2021 when compared with March 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 6.81% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2021, and recorded a 1.2% down over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Cardinal Health, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.65% in April 2021, and a flat growth over March 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.18% in April 2021, and registered a flat increase. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 8.82% in April 2021, a % rise from March 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Cardinal Health

North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in April 2021 with a 75% share, which marked a 13.33% growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 20.59%, registering a 36.36% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 2.94% share and a flat growth over March 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.53%, up by 35.14% from March 2021. Mid Level positions with a 23.53% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 2.94% share, down 80% over March 2021.
