Poland pharma industry registered a 2.6% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 13.02% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.54% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 0.87% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 96.61% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland pharma industry in July 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.71% in July 2021, a 24.49% drop over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed an 11.86% share, decline of 36.36% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 10.17%, registering a 500% rise from June 2021.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 6.78%, down 55.56% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland IT recruitment activity in July 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 10.42% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland pharma industry during July 2021 over June 2021.

GlaxoSmithKline posted 23 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by AstraZeneca with 19 jobs and a 90% growth. Bayer with 5 IT jobs and Parexel International with 4 jobs, recorded a 50% drop and a 300% increase, respectively, while CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. recorded a 50% decline with 2 job postings during July 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.44%, down by 7.27% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 6.78% share, a decline of 75% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.78% share, flat growth over June 2021.
