The industry’s overall hiring increased by 3.46% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Top five pharma companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 23.11% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s pharma industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
HCA Healthcare posted 231 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 3.59% over the previous month, followed by Bausch Health Companies with 230 jobs and a 63.12% growth. CVS Health with 219 IT jobs and Oak Street Health with 149 jobs, recorded a 14.66% flat growth and a 10.37% flat growth, respectively, while Chemed recorded an increase of 55.56% with 98 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.15%, up by 19.39% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.95% share, registered an increase of 9.07% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 20.34% share, up 26.83% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.56%, recording a month-on-month decline of 18.18%.
