Thymalfasin (Zadaxin) is a synthetic polypeptide consisting of 28 amino acids, a synthetic version of thymosin alpha 1, a substance found naturally in the circulation and produced in the body's thymus gland. It is formulated as an injection for the sub-cutaneous route of administration. It is used different indications such as chronic Hepatitis B, cancer adjuvant, vaccine enhancer and immunostimulant.
