The annual Hip Fracture Management, Falls Prevention, and Reducing Avoidable Pressure Injuries Conferences, will now be streamlined into three consecutive one day programs addressing the theme of improving patient safety and preventing the risk of falls, fractures and pressure injuries.

Based on the feedback from previous attendees, the cohesion of these three significant conferences will examine national standards and guidelines, prevention strategies, innovations, case studies, new research, and technologies to maximise knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.

In 2015 delegates will have the option to attend the entire three day event OR tailor their participation by selecting the focus days of choice.

The three days will consist of:

Hip Fracture Management: Monday 31st August 2015
The speaker faculty on this program will discuss pragmatic treatment, innovations, evidence and improvements with key national leaders in hip fracture management.

Falls Prevention: Tuesday 1st September 2015
A day of practical solutions and case studies to better understand at-risk populations to prepare and cater for the possibility of falls in hospital and community settings.

Pressure Injuries: Wednesday 2nd September 2015
This agenda for this day will focus on reducing avoidable pressure injuries and will provide best practice management for improving awareness and prevention strategies.
