As of 2021 there are 212,784 students in tertiary education in the UAE, with 91,277 students in secondary and 592,172 in primary education.

The UAE ranked 16th in the World Bank’s Doing Business Report (2020). In the 2019 report it finished 11th. In the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report (2019), the UAE finished 25th, after ranking 25th in 2018.
