Notably, big data was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q3 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of individualism & expression and personalization, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry, CSL had the greatest increase in references for big data in Q3 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified six big data-related sentences in the company's filings - 0.2% of all sentences - and an increase of 100% in Q3 2023 compared with Q3 2022. BeiGene’s mentions of big data dropped by 43% to 4 and Merck’s by 20% to 4 and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals’s by 200% to 3.
