Germany-based company Bayer’s IT hiring declined 6.6% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 5.98% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 6.13% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.12% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Bayer IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Bayer, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.67% in July 2022, and a 39.47% rise over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 33.33%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.33% in July 2022, a flat growth from June 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Bayer
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 42.67% share, which marked a 10.34% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 32%, registering a 71.43% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 25.33% share and a 26.92% drop over June 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 37.33% share in July 2022, a 7.69% growth over June 2022. US featured next with a 30.67% share, up 91.67% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 9.33% share, a decline of 30% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Bayer IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.67%, up by 7.89% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32% share, a growth of 71.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.33% share, down 41.18% over June 2022.
