The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 10.26% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 5.81% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.07% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Bayer IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Bayer, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.86% in February 2022, and a 128.13% rise over January 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 16.1% in February 2022, and registered growth of 216.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.71% in February 2022, a 34.78% drop from January 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Bayer

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 49.15% share, which marked a 20.83% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 34.75%, registering a 272.73% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 14.41% share and a 142.86% rise over January 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.69% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 31.36% share in February 2022, a 311.11% growth over January 2022. Germany featured next with a 15.25% share, up 5.88% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 13.56% share, an increase of 700% compared with January 2022.

Mid Level jobs lead Bayer IT hiring activity in February 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 45.76%, up by 134.78% from January 2022. Junior Level positions with a 41.53% share, a growth of 58.06% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.86% share, up 16.67% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.85%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
