IT jobs claimed a 9.56% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.44% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.92% in September 2021, and an 8.75% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 12.31% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 5.88%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.23% in September 2021, a 14.29% drop from August 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at F. Hoffmann-La Roche
North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 53.08% share, which marked a 16.95% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 27.69%, registering a 28.57% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 16.15% share and a 40% drop over August 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.31% and a month-on-month decline of 62.5%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.77%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 48.46% share in September 2021, a 21.15% growth over August 2021. Spain featured next with an 11.54% share, up 200% over the previous month. China recorded a 5.38% share, a decline of 46.15% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead F. Hoffmann-La Roche IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.46%, down by 13.7% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 33.85% share, a growth of 7.32% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.15% share, up 16.67% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.54%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
