The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.62% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 10.55% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.97% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops F. Hoffmann-La Roche IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.56% in October 2021, and a 3.45% rise over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 14.81% in October 2021, and registered growth of 41.18%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.49% in October 2021, a 41.67% rise from September 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at F. Hoffmann-La Roche
North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 47.53% share, which marked a 10% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 32.1%, registering a 40.54% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 16.05% share and a 23.81% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.47% and a month-on-month increase of 300%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.85%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 41.98% share in October 2021, a 6.25% growth over September 2021. Poland featured next with a 10.49% share, up 325% over the previous month. Switzerland recorded a 7.41% share, an increase of 100% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.47%, up by 34.92% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.01% share, a growth of 2.17% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 18.52% share, up 42.86% over September 2021.
