IT jobs claimed a 13.7% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.2% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.49% in April 2022, and a 409.38% rise over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 10.77% in April 2022, and registered growth of 246.67%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 6.83% in April 2022, a 725% rise from March 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at F. Hoffmann-La Roche
North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 45.55% share, which marked a 214.29% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 30.43%, registering a 600% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 20.08% share and a 781.82% rise over March 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.73% and a month-on-month flat growth. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.21%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 39.54% share in April 2022, a 203.17% growth over March 2022. Spain featured next with an 11.18% share, up 800% over the previous month. China recorded an 8.49% share, an increase of 1266.67% compared with March 2022.
