The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.97% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.66% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.24% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 47.73% in June 2022, registering a 34.38% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 31.82% share, a decrease of 12.5% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.09%, registering a 60% decline from May 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 9.09%, down 60% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 25.71% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s pharma industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Johnson & Johnson posted 7 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 133.33% over the previous month, followed by Bayer with 6 jobs and a 64.71% drop. BioNTech with 5 IT jobs and Fresenius SEKGaA with 4 jobs, recorded a 400% growth and a 55.56% decrease, respectively, while Boehringer Ingelheim International recorded a decline of 20% with 4 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.64%, down by 46.15% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.73% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.64% share, flat growth over May 2022.
