The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 10.69% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 4.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 0.42% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Johnson & Johnson IT hiring in December 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Johnson & Johnson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 42.65% in December 2021, and a 46.3% drop over November 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 27.94% in December 2021, and registered a decline of 9.52%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.76% in December 2021, a 42.86% drop from November 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Johnson & Johnson
North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 54.41% share, which marked a 31.48% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 19.12%, registering an 18.18% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 16.18% share and a 54.17% drop over November 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 8.82% and a month-on-month decline of 57.14%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.47%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 51.47% share in December 2021, a 22.22% decline over November 2021. Singapore featured next with a 7.35% share, down 28.57% over the previous month. South Korea recorded a 5.88% share, an increase of 300% compared with November 2021.
Mid Level jobs lead Johnson & Johnson IT hiring activity in December 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 38.24%, down by 40.91% from November 2021. Junior Level positions with a 36.76% share, a decline of 47.92% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 22.06% share, up 50% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.94%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
