Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 50% in February 2022, a 60% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 33.33% in February 2022, marking a 55.56% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 16.67% in February 2022, a flat growth from January 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 27.27% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Middle East & Africa’s pharma industry during February 2022 over previous month.

Schreiner MediPharm posted 3 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a decline of 50% over the previous month, followed by MerckInc with 2 jobs and a 33.33% drop. Jordan Hospital with 1 IT job and Pfizer with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Teva Pharmaceutical Industries recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during February 2022.
