Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 64.71% in October 2022, a 21.43% drop over the previous month. Computer Support Specialists came in next, claiming a share of 11.76% in October 2022, marking a 100% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 11.76% in October 2022, a flat growth from September 2022.

Parexel International posted 4 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered an increase of 100% over the previous month, followed by Mediclinic International with 3 jobs and a 50% drop. Twist Bioscience with 3 IT jobs and F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while TytoCare recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Middle East & Africa’s pharma industry
South Africa commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 29.41% share in October 2022, a 44.44% decrease over September 2022. Israel featured next with a 23.53% share, up 100% over the previous month. Saudi Arabia recorded a 17.65% share, a growth of 200% compared with September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.94%, down by 25% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 35.29% share, registered a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.
