US-based company Parexel International’s IT hiring rose 16.9% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 15.09% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 10.22% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.22% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Parexel International IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Parexel International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 88.89% in September 2021, and an 8.47% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 6.94% in September 2021, and registered growth of 25%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 2.78% in September 2021, a flat growth from August 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Parexel International
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 47.22% share, which marked an 8.11% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 25%, registering a 10% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with an 18.06% share and a 160% rise over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 9.72% and a month-on-month increase of 16.67%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 29.17% share in September 2021, a 10.53% growth over August 2021. China featured next with a 15.28% share, down 38.89% over the previous month. US recorded a 12.5% share, an increase of 125% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Parexel International IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.89%, flat growth from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 23.61% share, a growth of 6.25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.11% share, up 300% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.39%, recording a month-on-month decline of 75%.
