The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.54% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 10.89% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 1.17% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Parexel International IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Parexel International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 90.91% in November 2021, and an 118.75% rise over October 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 3.9% in November 2021, and registered growth of 200%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 2.6% in November 2021, a 33.33% drop from October 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Parexel International
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 57.14% share, which marked a 175% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 25.97%, registering a 42.86% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 9.09% share and a 40% rise over October 2021.
In the fourth place was North America with a share of 7.79% and a month-on-month increase of 50%.
China commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 29.87% share in November 2021, a 228.57% growth over October 2021. India featured next with a 22.08% share, up 142.86% over the previous month. South Africa recorded a 9.09% share, an increase of 40% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Parexel International IT hiring activity in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.34%, up by 84.62% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.68% share, a growth of 171.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.39% share, up 166.67% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.6%, recording a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.
