Poland’s pharma industry registered a 24.4% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 17.03% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.07% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.14% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in November 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 34.29% in November 2022, registering a 47.83% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 28.57% share, a decrease of 28.57% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 22.86%, registering a 46.67% decline from October 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 8.57%, down 66.67% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 22.22% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

AstraZeneca posted 10 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 11.11% over the previous month, followed by PSI CRO with 7 jobs and a 40% growth. GSK with 6 IT jobs and Eurofins Scientific with 3 jobs, recorded a 53.85% decline and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Merck recorded a decline of 33.33% with 2 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.71%, down by 48.89% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20% share, registered an increase of 75% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.29% share, down 58.33% over October 2022.
