Poland’s pharma industry registered an 8.6% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.74% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.91% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in September 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.39% in September 2021, registering a 34.78% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 19.35% share, a decrease of 33.33% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 19.35%, registering a 200% rise from August 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 9.68%, down 50% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 19.35% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

GlaxoSmithKline posted 13 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 18.75% over the previous month, followed by F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Parexel International with 3 IT jobs and Moderna with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% flat growth and a 200% flat growth, respectively, while AstraZeneca recorded a decline of 75% with 2 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.29%, down by 44.12% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.58% share, registered an increase of 133.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.13% share, flat growth over August 2021.
