Poland’s pharma industry registered a flat growth in IT hiring activity in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.91% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 19.07% share in December 2021, recording an increase of 1.84% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 101.47% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in December 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 57.35% in December 2021, registering a 34.48% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20.59% share, an increase of 40% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.71%, registering a 9.09% decline from November 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.88%, up 300% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 52.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during December 2021 over November 2021.

GlaxoSmithKline posted 32 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 10.34% over the previous month, followed by Bayer with 20 jobs and an 185.71% growth. F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 5 IT jobs and Biogen with 2 jobs, recorded a 66.67% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while PSI CRO recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during December 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.71%, up by 12.82% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.12% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.18% share, up 83.33% over November 2021.
