Poland’s pharma industry registered a 1.2% rise in IT hiring activity in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 13.6% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 15.43% share in February 2022, recording a decrease of 1.82% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 105.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in February 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.96% in February 2022, registering a 6.25% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 29.63% share, an increase of 166.67% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.41%, registering a 73.33% decline from January 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.56%, up 200% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 11.36% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during February 2022 over January 2022.

GlaxoSmithKline posted 28 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a rise of 47.37% over the previous month, followed by Bayer with 13 jobs and a 38.1% drop. Parexel International with 4 IT jobs and Lundbeck with 3 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while MerckInc recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during February 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.37%, up by 26.67% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.37% share, registered an increase of 57.14% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.26% share, down 70.59% over January 2022.
