Poland’s pharma industry registered a 12.2% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.78% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 15.61% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 3.03% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in October 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 37.1% in October 2022, registering a 20.69% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 24.19% share, an increase of 7.14% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 22.58%, registering a 17.65% decline from September 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 14.52%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 59.26% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
GSK posted 13 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 62.5% over the previous month, followed by AstraZeneca with 9 jobs and a 10% drop. Haleon with 8 IT jobs and Johnson & Johnson with 7 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 40% growth, respectively, while Eurofins Scientific recorded an increase of 50% with 6 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.58%, flat growth from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 19.35% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 6.45% share, down 66.67% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.61%, recording a month-on-month decline of 83.33%.
