Poland’s pharma industry IT recruitment activity rises 2.1% in March 2022

Poland’s pharma industry registered a 2.1% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.46% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 17.53% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 0.28% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in March 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.97% in March 2022, registering a 7.32% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 15.49% share, an increase of 175% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.68%, registering a 47.06% decline from February 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.63%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during March 2022 over February 2022.

GlaxoSmithKline posted 22 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 24.14% over the previous month, followed by Bayer with 19 jobs and a flat growth. Parexel International with 4 IT jobs and Johnson & Johnson with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 300% growth, respectively, while Medpace Holdings recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during March 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.79%, up by 2.22% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.13% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.27% share, down 33.33% over February 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.82%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
