France-based company Sanofi’s IT hiring declined 17.3% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 13.16% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 2.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.25% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Sanofi IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Sanofi, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 41.38% in September 2021, and a 63.64% drop over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 39.66% in September 2021, and registered growth of 21.05%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 13.79% in September 2021, a 71.43% drop from August 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Sanofi
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 53.45% share, which marked an 11.43% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 25.86%, registering a 63.41% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 13.79% share and an 81.82% drop over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 5.17% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.72%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 22.41% share in September 2021, a 55.17% decline over August 2021. China featured next with a 13.79% share, down 55.56% over the previous month. France recorded a 13.79% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Sanofi IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 44.83%, down by 64.38% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 37.93% share, a decline of 51.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.34% share, up 20% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 6.9%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
