France-based company Sanofi’s IT hiring rose 7.8% in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.74% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 3.29% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 0.52% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Sanofi IT hiring in December 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Sanofi, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.44% in December 2021, and a 42.31% rise over November 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 25.64% in December 2021, and registered growth of 11.11%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 24.36% in December 2021, a 35.71% rise from November 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Sanofi
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 53.85% share, which marked a 20% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 26.92%, registering a 10.53% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 17.95% share and a 100% rise over November 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.28% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 21.79% share in December 2021, a 21.43% growth over November 2021. Hungary featured next with a 19.23% share, up 150% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 16.67% share, an increase of 116.67% compared with November 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Sanofi IT hiring activity in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 53.85%, up by 7.69% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 38.46% share, a growth of 87.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.69% share, down 14.29% over November 2021.
