Spain’s pharma industry registered a 9.1% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 15.22% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.51% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 1.01% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s pharma industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 67.86% in November 2022, registering a 46.15% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 21.43% share, a decrease of 33.33% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.14%, registering a 50% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 3.57%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 33.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s pharma industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Pfizer posted 8 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by PSI CRO with 3 jobs and a 50% growth. Eurofins Scientific with 3 IT jobs and Grifols with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while F. Hoffmann-La Roche recorded a decline of 76.92% with 3 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.43%, down by 38.1% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 35.71% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 17.86% share, up 66.67% over October 2022.
