Top five pharma companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 33.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s pharma industry during December 2021 over November 2021.

Labgenius posted 16 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 1500% over the previous month, followed by GlaxoSmithKline with 15 jobs and a 6.25% drop. Bausch Health Companies with 11 IT jobs and Norgine with 8 jobs, recorded a 26.67% decline and a 166.67% growth, respectively, while Charles River Laboratories International recorded a decline of 14.29% with 6 job postings during December 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.51%, flat growth from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.33% share, registered a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.14% share, down 22.22% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.02%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
