Chinese pharmaceutical company WuXi AppTec plans to acquire US-based contract research organisation (CRO) ResearchPoint Global (RPG).

Chinese pharmaceutical company WuXi AppTec plans to acquire US-based contract research organisation (CRO) ResearchPoint Global (RPG).

RPG will become WuXi AppTec’s wholly owned subsidiary following the completion of the acquisition.

The acquisition will help WuXi AppTec to strengthen its clinical research services worldwide.

“Chinese pharmaceutical company Cachet Pharmaceutical plans to acquire 51% stake in a Zhejiang-based biotechnology company for CNY43.8m ($6.65m).”

Shenzhen Neptunus Bioengineering plans to acquire 10% stake in Shandong pharma company for CNY130m ($19.75m).

The Chinese pharmaceutical products manufacturer plans to pay the consideration in instalments through self-financing.
