Roche has reported positive data from the Phase II/III 2066 study investigating Ronapreve (casirivimab and imdevimab) in patients hospitalised with Covid-19. An analysis of the study shows that Ronapreve significantly reduced viral load within seven days of treatment in seronegative patients who did not require high-flow oxygen, thereby meeting the primary endpoint. Ronapreve, which is being jointly developed by Roche and Regeneron, is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies, casirivimab and imdevimab. It is designed to block infectivity of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid-19.
