Saffron Scientific Equipment is a specialist in the design, development and manufacture of both custom-made and standard glove boxes and dry anaerobic containment systems for the storage, handling and processing of hazardous and toxic substances.

Design and consultancy services for containment processes

Saffron can provide consultation and design advice for processes that require containment systems, such as high-temperature furnaces and cryogenics plants, as well as mechanical operations.

Bespoke nuclear and pharmaceutical containment systems

Much of our work is designing and building unique containment systems for customers who either want to keep the product away from the user or the user away from the product. Anaerobic and air shields

Saffron products fall into two major categories – custom-built and standard. Our Alpha range offers basic high-quality anaerobic and air shields, all for a sensible budget, and is available in two, three or four port sizes, and to various specifications to meet individual customer requirements.

Large manual air shield, semi-automatic anaerobic and fully automatic anaerobic glove boxes

Our Beta range comprises larger glove boxes that are available in manual air shield, semi-automatic anaerobic and fully automatic anaerobic forms.
