Italvacuum - A Wide Line of Vacuum Dryers and Vacuum Pumps

Established in 1939, Italvacuum can rely on almost 70 years of experience in the field of vacuum dryers and vacuum pumps for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Having developed a peculiar know-how, not only Italvacuum can offer turn-key vacuum drying systems, but also its own experience to customize the drying processes according to the customers specific needs.

CRIOX SYSTEM

The Criox System, a great success patent, is a rotary vacuum dryer able to totally extract water and other solvents from the wet powders coming from filtering or centrifuge. Criox is multi-product being studied for the use with the widest range of possible materials with crystalline or amorphous structure.

Criox also guarantees an absolute safety for the process, the environment and the operators, being manufactured in the full respect of the FDA rules and being compliant to ATEX norms. The peculiar form of CRIOX, with soft lines without edges and sharp corners, allows to realize models fully coated for process using particularly aggressive substance. The lump breaker unit applied to the bicone, another specific feature, not only prevents the forming of lumps, but it also allows powdering and grinding. This ensures a checked granulometry and it means a final product ready for sacking. CRIOX guarantees reproduction and homogeneity of process for all batches.

MULTISPRAY VACUUM CABINET DRYERS

They consist of a cabinet and a series of shelves heated through the circulation of fluid. Also the drying chamber is heated, in order to avoid condensation. A specific fluid distribution manifold guarantees homogeneity of heating on all radiant plates.

The main features of these dryers are the perfect polish of the inside of the cabinet and of the heating plates (on both surfaces) and the watertight covering of the door.

The new patented C.I.P. MULTISPRAY® System allows to carry out washing and cleaning operations of the drying chamber and of the inner shelves, preventing the operators from coming into direct contact with possible residuals of product and solvents, eliminating any risk for the personnel.

CYLINDRICAL VACUUM DRYERS

Rotary cylindrical vacuum dryers are primarily designed for drying, mixing and condensing operations in the manufacture of granulated plastic materials: chips, beads, slices, pellets and scraps. Their manufacturing specifications make them especially suitable for operations requiring a combination of high vacuum levels and high heating temperatures.

SAURUS939 VACUUM PUMPS

The simple and traditional design, together with innovative technical solutions, as the new LUBRIZERO® System, that minimized the oil consumption, now reduced nearly to zero, make Saurus939 superlative in all chemical and pharmaceutical processes, such as drying, distillation and reaction. Thanks to the use of new materials in teflon with special charges that, beside being resistant to corrosion, does not require any lubrification, the renewed SAURUS939 range guarantees its well-know high performances, even with trifling oil consumption. This allows also the use of FDA approved synthetic oil.

In case of common solvents and even the most aggressive, Saurus939 guarantees: absolute safety for the process and the operators, high endurance against powders, high resistance against corrosion, high endurance against condensate solvents and the secondary products of distillation, use without limits in all vacuum range, low noise (<70db), low working temperature, installation in dangerous environment, absolute reliability with high performances, very low operating costs. Saurus939 also complies to Atex norms (being available until zone 0).
