The ZETA Group Expands its Global Operations with First Office in the USA

Biomanufacturing industry-leading facility design and engineering company ZETA has taken up a lease at Spring House Innovation Park in Lower Gwynedd, PA. ZETA USA Inc., part of the ZETA Group of companies, with over 30 years of experience in delivering turnkey aseptic liquid process solutions, operates as an engineering and project management hub to bolster its on-site support for its growing portfolio of North American clients.

Recognized as an innovation driver in the bioprocessing industry, for executing ultra fast-track, end-to-end engineering, fabrication, automation, digitalization, HVAC and cleanroom design projects, ZETA USA is able to effectively leverage its state-of-the-art capabilities, developed for some of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies, directly into the US.

“With our unique and holistic approach to project delivery – keeping the client at the heart of everything we do – it was only a matter of time before we would need to open an office in the US. I’m delighted we are able to do so in a such a vibrant and thriving pharma and biotech community”, explains Lindsay Smart, CEO of ZETA USA Inc.

Up to 25% reduction in project execution times

Utilizing its unique fully-integrated engineering and operating systems toolchain, which enables up to a 25% reduction in project execution times, ZETA USA is able to seamlessly increase its capacity to meet in-market demand in the USA.

“Whenever we successfully decrease the time to deliver a project, we know that can help our customers bring a valuable drug to market quicker, allowing their patients to benefit from its life-changing potential sooner. This gives all of us at ZETA an immense sense of pride and duty to continuously improve our service”, continues Lindsay Smart.

Ultra-fast-track implementation in Chicago

Following a recent successful ultra-fast-track implementation of a high-tech nano emulsion system for a global healthcare company in Chicago, a senior company spokesperson said “with ZETA, we have finally found a partner who can carry out complex engineering projects on an equal footing with us.” This assignment, from concept design to commissioning – delivered in spite of unavoidable restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic – prompted ZETA to be appointed again for an additional larger and more complex project.

“ZETA reduces the risks and interfaces in biopharmaceutical production plant construction projects by bringing all the design development steps under one roof, from concept design and process engineering to automation and digitalization. This leads to a significant reduction in project lead time, cost savings and sources of error”, says Daniel Maier, COO of ZETA USA Inc.
