Simon Clark has joined Polpharma as vice-president of the management board and chief commercial officer of Polpharma Group.
Simon Clark graduated from the Royal Agricultural College and obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural Science and Economics. He is an accomplished commercial executive who has vast and long-term experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), over-the-counter (OTC) consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical markets.
Clark has more than 20 years of in-depth experience in the pharmaceutical sector in different regional roles, covering Scandinavia and Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia and Poland.
Clark says: “Joining Polpharma is very exciting, a business, which I have admired from the outside and is shaped by a group of people within that have a real passion for their business. It is a combination that I see tremendous potential in.”
At Polpharma Group, Simon Clark will be responsible for the development and execution of commercial strategy for all subsidiaries of Polpharma Group through accelerating organic growth, acquisitions and developing strategic partnerships in order to achieve and maintain leading position on generic Rx and consumer healthcare markets in the company’s core markets, as well as extend Polpharma’s presence beyond existing geographies.
In addition, Simon will cooperate together with Polpharma’s strategic partners, Akrikhin and Farmaprojects.
