Optima Group Announces New General Sales Manager for Consumer Division
On 9 September Hans Buehler (managing director of Optima Group) introduced Martin Sauter as the new general sales manager of the Consumer Division.
At Optima Group Consumer, Martin Sauter will be responsible for the global distribution to the food, chemical and cosmetics industries. His competencies will further include project planning, project management and after-sales service.
“The whole is more than the sum of its parts.” With this quote from Aristotle in his inaugural speech, Martin Sauter explained how he will apply this thought to all product lines and each and every employee in the company. “I have great respect for the task awaiting me and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
Martin Sauter is married and has two children. The 39-year-old business economist is from Crailsheim and gathered his professional experience in various business segments of the Würth Group. In 2000, he changed to IPS, a subsidiary of Gerhard Schubert in Crailsheim, where after five years he was promoted to head of sales.
