The UK has a unique process for individuals to gain Qualified Person (QP) status. This involves candidates applying to one of three professional bodies (the Royal Society of Biology, the Royal Society of Chemistry or the Royal Pharmaceutical Society) to obtain “eligibility.”

These societies publish a study guide that defines their expectations. Candidates have to submit a written application and then have an oral viva. This webinar, presented by Pete Gough, explains the process and guides both potential candidates and their employers on how to succeed in gaining QP eligibility.
