Cold chain medicine distribution company Mediport has invested in new fleets across Australia.

Since the successful partnership with CH2, Mediport is positioned to accept other national contracts, including Team Medical in Dural, New South Wales (NSW). This deal will see services in Queensland, Western Australia, and Victoria towards the end of this year and into early 2017.

In addition, Mediport has also completed a year trial for Sanofi Pasteur throughout Victoria. The company’s cold chain refrigerated distribution services will take over deliveries from DHL, replacing the polystyrene and ice brick packaging. These services will commence in Western Australia in October, Queensland in November, and New South Wales in January.

Mediport’s fleet of trackable, temperature-controlled vehicles are all operated by staff trained to Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and EU compliant ISO 9001 standard operating procedures. Mediport continues to engage in discussions with manufacturers and wholesalers nationally. The company state its national footprint and ISO9001 management plan for cold chain medicines provides the absolute dependability clients demand.

The company is also currently exploring opportunities in Sri Lanka after the completion of its national infrastructure investment of 60 new regional blood banks.
